Collaboration with Dexde in La Casamance, Senegal.
With Handicap crafter women who face struggles in their community and want to gain empowerment and economical independence. 




goals:

To design a new collection of textile products.
To ease the development of the entrepreneur business.
To make a social impact in the small community.






Actions:

Learning and observing the needs.
Exchanging knowledge and training the capacities.
Co-designing innovative patterns and textile products to sell at local markets and shops.
Optimizing the atelier organization and workflow.




concept:

Twisting design n’ craft processes. Trying ideas through the whole process.
Representing the Diola’s identity in the patterns of the textiles through language and shapes of nature.
